37,564 are eligible to vote in Carbon County

A total of 37,564 persons are eligible to vote in the General Election of Carbon County on Tuesday, Nov. 8, according to the official voter registration report recently approved by the county's elections board.

Of that total, nearly 50 percent of the registered voters are from the Democratic Party. The party has 18,765 persons eligible to participate in the balloting from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. That represents 49.95 percent of the registered voters.The Republican Party has exactly 14,000 eligible voters, which is 37.26 percent of the total eligible voters.
