The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce continues its 12th annual Summer Concert Series on Thursday with Magic Stew playing classic rock/jam. The concerts are held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the platform at the Tamaqua Train Station.

All events are weather permitting.

The entertainment will continue throughout the summer months, on select Thursdays. The rest of the schedule includes: June 28, Six To Midnight, acoustic ’90s and classic rock; July 12, It Takes Two, top ’40s and classic good-time oldies; July 19, Shellshocked Churchills, classic rock; July 26, Big and Bad Rockabilly Cats, hillbilly rock; Aug. 2, Buddy Musselman, classic rock and outlaw country; Aug. 9, The Fat Cats, rock ’n’ roll; Aug 16, Magic Stew, classic rock/jams; Aug. 23, The Bees Knees, ’60s rock and the British invasion bands; Aug. 30, Gene Morrison, oldies and the classics.
