A Summit Hill man admitted fleeing police then getting involved in making threats to others and driving recklessly. He entered his plea in Carbon County court on Tuesday before Judge Joseph J. Matika.

Seth Michael Krynock, 22, pleaded to one count each of fleeing or attempting to elude police, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.

He was arrested on May 24 by Summit Hill police after leading officers in a high-speed chase along Chestnut and Summit streets then threatening at least six people.

On the fleeing charge Matika sentence Krynock to time-served (98 days) to one year in jail and ordered he get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment, render 50 hours of community service, supply a DNA sample and have no contact with any of the victims.

On the other two counts he was placed on probation for a year on each count, concurrent to each other and concurrent to the fleeing count.

Krynock has been in prison since his arrest.
