Shenandoah home burglarized

State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence.

The break-in occurred on North Market Street in Shenandoah, sometime between Friday and Sunday. Entry was made through a roof access door which was left unlocked.

The home is owned by a 64-year-old Shenandoah man. Items taken included a Phillips flat screen 50-inch 4K television valued at $700; a DVD sleeve-type, black mesh case valued at $30; DVDs valued at $60; and a Sony PS4 PlayStation 4 with one controller valued at $350. A door/door jamb was cracked, causing an estimated $45 in damage.

The stolen items are the property of a 44-year-old Shenandoah man, who had permission to store the items at the home.
