The search for a missing teen from Mahanoy Township has expanded to the Tamaqua area.

Vincent Golinski, who was reported as missing from his home on Monday, was reportedly last seen in the area behind the Tamaqua Area High School.

Search teams from throughout the area, with their K-9 units, were converging on the area.

By 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Northeast Search and Rescue group already had responders on site, while a team from South Central PA Search and Rescue was on its way to join in the search.

Golinski was also reportedly spotted near the coal lands on Tamaqua’s Dutch Hill, so teams were set to also look there.

Anyone with information may contact township police at 570-773-1239 or the Schuylkill County Communications at 570-668-6100.
