State police at Schuylkill Haven said Mateo Rivera, 19, of Schuylkill Haven, is facing charges of retail theft and criminal trespass while Hartaj Singh, 19, of Pottsville, is facing a charge of retail theft.

Troopers said the two entered Kohl’s Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall, Norwegian Township, at 1:30 p.m. on April 18 and concealed items on their person then left the store without paying for them.

The trespass charge against Rivera was filed because he was previously told he was prohibited from entering the store.
