Schuylkill County court

Schuylkill County judges handed down penalties to 12 people charged by local police. In addition to their punishments, all were ordered to pay court costs and fees.

Jeremy Plasko

, 41, currently in Berks County prison, was charged by Tamaqua police with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct on May 20.

He pleaded guilty to the trespass charge, and Judge John E. Domalakes sentenced him to 12 months on probation.

Pamela L. Pena

, 26, of Hazleton, was charged by Kline Township police with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and conspiracy to possess a controlled substance.

Domalakes sentenced her to 12 months on probation.

Michael Vega

, 35, of Frackville, was charged by Rush Township police with giving a false statement under penalty on Jan. 9.

Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin sentenced him to 12 months on probation.

Walter J. Deetz

, 48, of Barnesville, was charged by Coaldale police with theft of services on Feb. 1, 2014.

Dolbin sentenced him to 12 months on probation, and ordered him to pay $1,222 in restitution to the Coaldale Joint Water Authority.

Joseph J. Carroll III

, 27, of Minersville, was charged by Tamaqua police with criminal solicitation — retaliation against witness or victim on Jan. 31. Dolbin sentenced him to 12 months on probation, and ordered him to pay $1,231 in restitution and have no contact with the victims.

Clark S. Gensel

, 63, of Hazle Township, was charged by McAdoo police with disorderly conduct on Feb. 22.

Dolbin fined him $500.

Kimberly Kroll

, 35, of Hazleton, was charged by Kline Township police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, having a small amount of marijuana, accident involving damage to an attended vehicle or property, and failing to obey a stop sign on Oct. 26, 2017.

She pleaded guilty to the DUI and accident charges.

President Judge William E. Baldwin sentenced her to 72 hours to six months in the county jail and fined her $1,000 on the DUI charge, and 12 months on probation on the accidents charge, to be served concurrently with the first sentence.

Baldwin also ordered Kroll to perform 10 hours of community service, successfully complete Alcohol Highway Safety School, obtain drug and alcohol counseling, and continue with mental health counseling.

Matthew Lawrence

, 32, of Drums, was charged by Kline Township police with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance; conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance; three counts of possession of a controlled substance; having a small amount of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 6, 2017.

He pleaded no contest to the conspiracy charge, and Judge Charles M. Miller sentenced him to three years on probation and fined him $500.

Lawrence, also known as Mackenson Cebe, was also charged by state police at Frackville with two counts each of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia on March 23, 2017.

He pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of a controlled substance and the paraphernalia charge.

Miller sentenced him to 12 months on probation.

Brandon L. Krobert

, 21, of Schuylkill Haven, was charged by Kline Township police with theft and receiving stolen property on Aug. 30, 2016.

Miller sentenced him to 12 months on probation, and to pay $222 restitution.

Ann M. Hoffman

, 40, of Tamaqua, was charged by borough police with disorderly conduct on Dec. 13, 2017.

Domalakes sentenced her to 12 months on probation.

Lisa Schaeffer

, 57, of St. Clair, was charged by Tamaqua police with theft and receiving stolen property on Jan. 1, 2017.

Domalakes sentenced her to 12 months on probation.

Keith J. Schlosser

, 36, of Tamaqua, was charged by borough police with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving an unregistered vehicle on March 11.

Domalakes sentenced him to 12 months on probation.
