Four men arrested by Tamaqua Police in separate incidents were sentenced by Schuylkill County Judge James P. Goodman March 25.

Renato Natal

, 42, Tamaqua was arrested by Tamaqua police officer Anthony Stanell on Oct. 13, 2017, on a charge of use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Natal will be under house arrest with electronic monitoring for six to 12 months. He must pay $50 to the CJEA and $100 to the substance abuse education fund. The house arrest begins April 1.

Albert M. Shaw Jr.

, 35, Tamaqua, was arrested by Tamaqua officer Thomas Rogers June 13, 2018, and charged with burglary — not adapted for overnight accommodation, no person present and criminal trespass.

Shaw was sentenced to time served to 23 months; since he had already served the minimum sentence (161 days) he was immediately paroled. He will be on probation for two years on the criminal trespass charge. He must pay $50 to the CJEA, submit a DNA sample and pay the $250 fee for the sample.

Frederick W. Strohl

, 54, Edwardsville, was arrested March 28, 2018, by Tamaqua officer Henry Woods and charged with indecent assault – without the consent of other. Strohl was placed on strict probation for 24 months and is to have no contact with the victim.

He is subject to a sexual offender evaluation by adult probation and is to follow any special conditions for sex offenders. He must pay $50 to the CJEA.

David L. Killins

, 35, Rochester, New York, was arrested by Tamaqua police officer Christian DeAngelo on Sept. 22, 2018, on a charge of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer. Killins was sentenced to time served to 23 months; since he had already served 185 days, he was immediately paroled.

On other charges stemming from the same incident, Killins was placed for 12 months on probation for an accident involving damage, a $50 fine for criminal mischief and $577 in fines for driving under suspension.
