A Quakake man is headed to state prison after appearing in Schuylkill County Court on July 22 and 23.

On July 22, President Judge William E. Baldwin revoked parole for Brandon R. Snyder

, 36. His time is added to his sentence, giving him a new max date of Jan. 28, 2020. On July 23, Judge James P. Goodman sentenced Snyder to four to 12 months in state prison on a charge of receiving stolen property associated with his arrest by Pottsville Police on Sept. 9, 2018. The state sentence begins at the expiration of the sentence imposed by Judge Baldwin.

In a ruling by Goodman July 24, Amy L. Valentine

, 47, Lansford was admitted to the Intermediate Punishment program. Valentine was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police, Hamburg, trooper Benjamin Mennig, on DUI charges Sept. 6, 2018. Valentine will serve 10 days at Schuylkill County Prison, followed by 40 days on house arrest, then four months and 10 days of strict supervision. She must pay fines and costs totaling $1,050. Her license will be suspended for 12 months, followed by 12 months ignition interlock. She must complete Alcohol Highway Safety School and do 20 hours community service.

In a ruling by Judge John Domalakes July 25, David A. Merenda

, 35, Barnesville, had his probation/parole revoked for violating a PFA. Merenda is recommitted to county prison with a max date of Nov. 28, 2019.
