Schuylkill County Court

An Andreas man violated conditions of his probation and was resentenced to serve three to 12 months at Schuylkill County Prison, in a ruled by Judge James Goodman on Feb. 20.

Joseph J. Cappella

, 27, was arrested by Tamaqua Police on June 29 on charges of criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief/damage to property. In a negotiated guilty plea Oct. 2, Cappella had been sentenced to probation for 12 months on those charges.

In a decision by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin on Feb. 19, a Tamaqua man was admitted into the ARD program. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program. If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program, their record is expunged.

Donovan Nicholas Alford

, 25, was arrested by McAdoo Police on DUI charges March 12, 2019. He must pay $500 to defray the cost of ARD, plus $250 in fines and costs. His license will be suspended for 60 days and he must complete alcohol highway safety school. He will be on strict probation for 12 months and must complete 10 hours of community service.
