Schuylkill County court

Schuylkill County judges accepted guilty pleas from five people charged by local police, and sentenced them to prison terms. In addition to their punishments, all the defendants were ordered to pay court costs and fees.

Angelina M. Fisher

, 24, of Tamaqua, pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Domalakes sentenced her to time served to 23 months in jail with immediate parole.

A charge of harassment was dropped.

Fisher was charged by Tamaqua police on Dec. 18, 2017.

Stephen M. Gaughan

, 32, of Auburn, pleaded guilty to retail theft and driving while his operating privileges were suspended or revoked.

Domalakes ordered him to pay $27.04 in restitution, time served to 23 months in jail with immediate parole. Gaughan was also fined $200 on the license charge.

A charge of receiving stolen property was dropped.

Gaughan was charged by Rush Township police on June 21, 2017.

Bonnie J. Muscle

, 42, of Tamaqua, pleaded to receiving stolen property.

Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin sentenced her to time served to 12 months with immediate parole.

He also ordered her to perform 10 hours of community service.

Muscle was charged by Tamaqua police on Oct. 21, 2015.

Melissa Robinson

, 37, of Pottsville, pleaded guilty to retail theft. Dolby sentenced her to 30 days to 23 months in jail with immediate parole as soon as she’s served her minimum.

Robinson was charged by Tamaqua police on Sept. 19, 2017.

Paula J. Shafer

, 45, of Drums, Luzerne County, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance.

Domalakes sentenced her to time served to six months in jail with immediate parole.

Shafer was charged by Rush Township police on Feb. 13, 2014.
