Robots taking our jobs

Stores are eliminating human checkers. Many manufacturing companies already have robots doing the assembling. Farmers have big machines whereby one man can do the work of many. Many of our nuisance calls are recorded, eliminating more humans. Even calls to remind us of appointments are recorded messages. How about operating rooms? Have or can robots take over there also?

We have cars driving themselves, perhaps even big delivery trucks. Will people one day just stay in their little cubicles, communicating with “that little thing” in the palm of their hands? Conversation? Whole words? Just use the letters, it’s all in the palm of their hands!

What will humans do without jobs when the robots and computers take their jobs?

I’ve heard it said that sports are too dangerous for our kids. Football and even baseball are too risky. Our military training is so tough that they’re softening it for the women, and therefore, even the guys. Are the people who say these things trying to weaken our nation’s men and military forces? Do they want us to raise and train wimps and cream puffs? God help us save our USA!

There used to be tent caterpillars, then gypsy moth caterpillars. Now we have the spotted lanternfly — just to mention a few small things of nature without going into the history of diseases and how they have progressed, and global warming, strange weather etc. Every year it seems Halloween outshines Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Veterans Day and Memorial Day, just to name some of the important ones. Fourth of July and Labor Day have become just another day, perhaps for a picnic, but do the people have any idea why?

Are any parents teaching their children about our America and our history? It seems no one else is. However, it will all come out according to God’s plan because … guess what? God is still in control! I hope enough of us still care.
