The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work for this week, weather permitting:

Carbon County

• Nesquehoning: Route 209/Catawissa Street between Route 54 and Route 903, daytime lane restriction with flagging, Monday.

• Kidder Township: Route 940/Pinchot Trail between River Road and Monroe County line, daytime lane restriction with flagging, Tuesday.

• Penn Forest Township: Hatchery Road between Route 903 and Spruce Hollow Road, daytime lane restriction with flagging, Wednesday.

• Lower Towamensing: Route 248 POW/MIA Highway between Route 873 and Club Road, daytime lane restriction both directions, Monday.

• Mahoning: Route 443/Blakeslee Blvd between Mill Road and Route 902, daytime lane restriction with flagging, Friday.

• Kidder Township: Interstate 80 ramp at exit 277 (Turnpike), daytime lane shifting, Tuesday.

• Towamensing: Trachsville Hill between Route 209 and Pohopoco Drive, daytime, Tuesday.

• Upper Macungie: Interstate 78 east between exit 49 (Route 100) and exit 59 (to Route 145), daytime shoulder work, Monday.
