A Blakeslee man has been charged with recklessly endangering a small child after he stabbed another man.

Kidder Township Police filed charges of reckless endangerment against Thomas Edward Wise of Blakeslee in connection with the Dec. 23 incident at a home in the unit block of Big Pine Drive in the Holiday Pocono Development.

Wise allegedly stabbed another man in the living room of the home around noon that day, causing a 4- to 5-inch laceration on his left forearm. The victim declined to press charges and was not cooperative with police.

A witness inside the house said the attack occurred while a small child was nearby in a kitchen connected to the living room. Police charged Wise with reckless endangerment for putting the child in danger. They also filed drug charges for several pills and a marijuana pipe allegedly found in Wise’s possession.
