Police charge 2 in fight across from school

State police at Stroudsburg were called Stroud Regional Police to assist in breaking up a large fight with gun shots across the Stroudsburg High School on Friday. Two girls, ages 17 and 15, are facing charges.

One juvenile spat at officers and kicked them while being taken into custody. She was charged with riot, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and related charges.

While officers were taking the first girl into custody, the other one hit a state police officer in the head and attempted to pull him away from the girl. She is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and obstruction of justice.
