Panther Valley Pack 765 in Lansford held its Pinewood Derby on Feb. 17 with 22 Cub Scouts from the Panther Valley area participating in the second annual event and receiving a ribbon and a certificate. Dallas Clark won the “Cub Choice Trophy,” which was voted by his fellow Scouts. Cole Shemansik won the first-place trophy for fastest car, followed by Duke Shemansik and Mason Veillette. Anthony Iudicello won a trophy for Best Workmanship, and Cole Shemansik won a trophy for Most Creative. Pack 765 is always looking for new members who are in grades K-5 in the Panther Valley area. Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church on 104 E Abbott St., Lansford. For more information, contact Rich at 570-657-6159.
