Tax prep assistance

The Panther Valley Public Library will offer assistance to seniors age 60 and older who qualify for the rent/property tax rebate in preparing federal income tax 1040, 1040 A, 1040 EZ forms and the Pennsylvania tax return.

This service will be offered at the library at 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 8 and March 8. Appointments are required for these services.

Donations to support the library will be accepted. Call the library 570-645-3780 to schedule an appointment or for more information.

Bloodmobile

The Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile will be at Lansford American Fire Company No. 1, 26 E. Patterson St., Lansford, from 1-6 p.m. on Feb. 5.
