    Palmerton Junior High School students were recognized for their achievements at an awards banquet. The eighth-grade students who were recognized, from left, are: Magnolia Young, Kira Hauser, Natalie Mosier, Justin Sebelin, Kira McDonough, Justin Herrmann, Logan Connelly and Marissa Walck. Back row: Fiona Winger, Kelsey Balliet, Zoe Salter, Montanna Costenbader, Tyler Bechtold, Daniel Haskins, Ethan Jones and Reilly Burke. Those who earned the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence are Burke, Connelly, Jones and Sebelin. Those who attained the top average in their working sections are Balliet, Bechtold, Costenbader, Herrmann, McDonough, Salter and Sebelin. Those who rank in the top 10 of their class include Burke, Connelly, Costenbader, Hauser, Jones, Mosier, Sebelin, Walck, Winger and Young.
