Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Theft: Shane Bartenope, 32, Scranton, was charged with identity theft, access device fraud, and theft, for an incident Aug. 25 in the 700 block of Princeton Avenue.

Maximum gross weight: Alexander Chavarro, 55, Corona, New York; Byron Jimenez, 32, Newark, New Jersey; Keith Vanderyajt, 50, Albrightsville; Michael Alejandro, 34, Newark, New Jersey; Jose Torres, 48, Wharton, New Jersey; John Lozano, 37, Dover, New Jersey; and Pedro Zamora Jr., 55, Ledgewood, New Jersey, were cited for maximum weight, for incidents that occurred on Sept. 26 in the 900 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Citations: Police also issued five citations for speeding, and one each for traffic violation and vehicle violation.
