Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

• The resignations of Kellie Bechtel, Peters Elementary cafeteria monitor, effective Oct. 31; and Shawn Wanamaker, high school cafeteria/hall monitor, effective Oct. 16.

• The administrative transfers of Joshua Reimer, from Slatington Elementary custodian to high school custodian, Tuesday-Saturday, 2:30-11 p.m., no change in salary, effective Nov. 5.

• The appointment of Christopher Hamm, long-term substitute, secondary vocal music teacher, $49,750, effective Oct. 15, with a termination date on the last teacher day of the 2019-20 school year; Kellie Bechtel, second shift custodian, Slatington Elementary School, $14 per hour, 2:30-11 p.m. five days a week, effective Nov. 1; Shawn Wanamaker, Peters Elementary School classroom paraprofessional, $12.58 per hour, 5 3/4 days a week, effective Oct. 16; and Susan Yesik, Peters Elementary School cafeteria monitor, $11.48 per hour, two hours per day, five days a week, effective Nov. 12.

• The appointment of Tara Marques, districtwide permanent substitute teacher, 2019-20 school year, daily per diem rate of $120, with district health benefits according to the Affordable Care Act regulations, with co-payment amounts equivalent to that of district personnel.

• An increase for Deborah Kuhns to $20.70 per hour, for performing head cook duties effective on or about Nov. 22, and through Jan. 22, 2020, or upon return of employee on an approved medical leave of absence.

• Bus driver Marie Madeline Christen from Brandywine Transportation to transport Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2019-20 school year.

• Morgan Smith, substitute instructional paraprofessional, and Amy Hower, substitute cafeteria worker, 2019-20 school year, at the 2019-20 substitute rate as approved on the Supplemental Personnel Salary Schedule.

• Robin Blocker and Scott Gerould, freshmen class advisers, with both to receive a $706 stipend.
