Nesquehoning police recently issued citations for the following events.

Traffic

• Ernesto Luis Gonzalez of Jim Thorpe was cited on Sept. 5 for driving a vehicle while driver’s license is suspended.

• Erick Whaley of Nesquehoning was cited on July 31 for driving with an expired driver’s license and for operating a vehicle without registration.

• Issued 10 speeding citations, one citation for careless driving, one citation for failing to stop at a stop sign, one citation for failing to follow traffic signs prohibiting large vehicles and two citations for parking violations.

Other citations

• Bonnie Snyder and Chaun Samaroo-West, both of Nesquehoning, were cited after the pair got into a fight on Sept. 23. They were each cited for disorderly conduct and harassment.

• Chaun Samaroo-West of Northampton and Nesquehoning was cited for cruelty to animals on Sept. 23.

• Issued one citation for failing to confine a dog, one citation for walking a dog without its leash and two citations for not having the dog licensed.
