Nesquehoning celebrates Halloween

The grounds of the Nesquehoning Hose Company were alive with spooks, squirrels, superheroes and dinosaurs Sunday night during the borough’s first trunk-or-treat event. Approximately 45 candy stations were set up in trunks and along walkways for the hundreds of children who participated. The event was funded solely by community donations. The events committee is hoping to make the event an annual Halloween celebration for the borough.
