MVS will be at Motorsports Trade Show in Philadelphia
Mahoning Valley Speedway is making final preparations for its first 2019 event as the paved ¼-mile oval will be setting up shop over the three day Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports Racecar and Trade Show Presented by Sunoco and Distributed by Insinger Performance, January 19-21 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.
Track promoters Jack and Rebecca Carlino, now embarking on their sophomore season as track operators, are excited to be back at the show and spend the weekend meeting with fans and teams alike.
The 2019 schedule will be officially released at the show. All seven regular track classes, which include Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods, Sportsman Modifieds, Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks, will return to action for 2019, along with a number of other touring classes and special events.
On display in the Mahoning booth will be the No. 03 Modified of Josh Scherer and the No. 18 Street Stock driven by Jared Ahner.
Drivers and team members can take the opportunity to purchase their 2019 pit licenses and also reserve pit spots. Anyone who would like the same pit spot from last season should note that they will be able to reserve that spot up until the show only. Afterward, all available spots will be on a first come basis. Pit spots and license fees remain the same as last year.
Mahoning Valley Speedway will open up the regular season on Saturday, April 6, headlined by a 100-lap/$3000-to-win Modified feature. Also on the Opening Night agenda will be the Late Models, Street Stocks, Dirt Mods, Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks.
Prior to the opener, there will be four Test and Tunes Days taking place March 16, 23, 30 and 31. Plans are also being finalized for the first annual Party in the Pits, which will officially crown the 2018 division champions and ring in the new season of racing.
