Due to the cancellation of last Saturday’s Mahoning Valley Speedway program, some schedule updates have been made.

The 3rd Annual Bill Teel Memorial Modified 4-16s will now take place this Saturday. That same night will also include Street Stocks, Pro 4s and Hobby Stocks. The Late Models are off.

The Hobby Stock 40-lap/$400-to-win feature has been rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 17. Modifieds, Late Models, Sportsman Modifieds, Street Stocks and Pro 4s are also in action. That night will also be First Responders Night. Anyone who shows their badge or ID card will be admitted to the grandstands for $5.

Additionally, that same night the track will be hosting ¼-Midget racers. Any ¼-Midget racer will be admitted for free along with their handler. Cars will be displayed in the front of the main gate building and during intermission will be escorted onto the track for an opportunity to take controlled laps with their cars.

Mahoning Valley Speedway has also designated Aug. 17 as their backpack giveaway night.

The speedway will be hitting the local fair circuit in the upcoming weeks. From Aug.5-10 they will be in attendance with a display at the Carbon County Fair in Palmerton and then the week of Aug. 18-24 at the West End Fair in Gilbert. Also, Aug. 17-18 Mahoning Valley will have their show cars exhibited at Pocono Raceway for the ABC Supply 500.
