McAdoo Police issued citations to two drivers following recent traffic stops.

• Jose Guitierrez Velazquez, 38, of Hazleton was stopped for a missing brake light on March 17. Officers found a small grinder with marijuana residue. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and the traffic violation.

• Michael Lyons, 20, of Hazleton, was stopped for a missing inspection sticker on Feb. 18. Police found glass pipes with burned marijuana residue, a bottle containing marijuana pieces and a bag filled with marijuana. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He wasn’t cited for the traffic violation as he had a valid inspection sticker in the glove box after a recent windshield repair.
