Lehighton names MVPs, Scholar Athletes

Lehighton recently announced their MVPs and Scholar Athletes for the winter and spring sports seasons. The school also named the overall winners in both categories.

Indians named MVPs included:

Girls Track and Field - Kaia Slaw

Boys Track and Field - Tahmir Spencer

Softball - Becky Serfass

Baseball - Michael Bozilesky

Co-ed Tennis - Aaron Miller

Girls Basketball - Emily Miller

Boys Basketball - Addison Howland

Wrestling - Chris Whiteman

Cheerleading - Miranda Petit

Indians named as Scholar Athletes were:

Girls Track and Field - Isabella Baka

Boys Track and Field - Evan Beers

Baseball - Mason Barndt

Co-ed Tennis - Olivia Frendt

Girls Basketball - Emily Miller

Boys Basketball - Addison Howland

Wrestling - Logan Pagotto

Cheerleading - Isabella Baka

Emily Miller was named the school’s overall female MVP, while Chris Whiteman was selected the male MVP.

The overall Scholar Athletes were Isabella Baka and Addison Howland.
