The American Legion Auxiliary Carbon-Lehigh-Monroe-Northampton 4 County Council held its meeting on Nov. 9 at Unit 922.

District President Sandra Lilly discussed the changes in membership eligibility.

The group celebrated the American Legion Auxiliary’s 100th birthday with a meal and birthday cake.

Units brought in the socks for the “Warm Tootsies Contest.” Overall the group collected 210 pairs of socks and received a monetary donation from Unit 588 to be used for the purchase of more socks. The socks will be given to Valor Clinic for their stand downs for homeless veterans. Thank you to all the units that participated in the collection.

The tickets for the April lottery calendar will be sent out soon.
