Lehigh Carbon Community College will hold a variety of noncredit exercise classes for fitness and recreation this semester.

Two dance classes will be offered for couples only, for a fee per person. Both recommend a flat shoe or one with low, wide heels and will be held at Parkway Manor Elementary School, 768 Parkway Road, Allentown.

• Ballroom Sampler teaches the basics in Fox Trot, Single-Step Swing and Rumba. Class will be held Tuesdays, Oct. 1-22, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

• Learn the East and West Coast Swing, Hustle and Country Two-Step in the Social Dance Sampler class, which emphasizes the lead-follow technique. Class runs Tuesdays, Oct. 29 through Nov. 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
