Lansford Police Department filed the following criminal charges during the month of July. All defendants are Lansford borough residents unless otherwise noted.

• Stefone Leisure, 32, strangulation, unlawful restraint, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person, for an incident on July 6.

• Alicia Kachmar, 28, simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment for an incident on July 15.

• Michael Brazier, 42, simple assault and harassment for an incident on July 6.

• Michael Miller, 49, of Summit Hill, possession of drug paraphernalia and a bicycle lighting violation, for an incident on July 6.

• Ricky Hunsicker, 33, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, for an incident on July 9.

• Vincent Newman, 33, of Summit Hill, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic violations for an incident on July 12.

• Joseph Nortavage, 21, of Tamaqua, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia for an incident on July 20.

• John Shubeck, 51, DUI, driving with a suspended license, for an incident on Feb. 6.

• Shaina Poshefko, 31, of Nesquehoning, DUI, possession of a controlled substance and driving at a safe speed, for an incident on May 27.

• Harry Murphy Jr., 39, of Coaldale, DUI possession of a controlled substance and careless driving for an incident on July 3.

• Schana Stewart, 29, tampering with evidence for an incident on July 9.

• Police also filed three citations for disorderly conduct, three for quality of life ordinance violations, two for harassment, two for scattering rubbish, and one for an animal nuisance.

• 23 people received citations for traffic violations.
