Lansford Alive is planning a fall cleanup at 9 a.m. Saturday in Kennedy Park.

The organization has registered as part of Pick Up Pennsylvania, in conjunction with the International Coastal Cleanup.

Lansford Alive will also be installing new signs at Kennedy Park and at the pool entrance.

The organization received a grant through the Main Street Lehigh Valley and matched it with funds to purchase the signs.

Anyone who can lend a hand with either project is asked to report to Kennedy Park at 8 a.m. to begin the sign installations and 9 a.m. for the cleanup.

Anyone who has community service or project hours to complete, these projects can assist with those hours.
