The Lansford Historical Society museum will begin opening on Friday afternoons from noon to 4 p.m., starting immediately. These hours will tie in with Fridays in Lansford, which begins in June. The museum is currently open every Thursday from 6-8 p.m.

Upcoming events include a military and war display from noon to 4 p.m. May 25. The spring open house will be held from noon to 4 p.m. June 8 and will include displays from Lansford High School and vintage wedding dresses.

Everyone is invited to attend their monthly meetings, held on the third Wednesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The museum is located at 117 E. Bertsch St. in Lansford.
