Class of 1967

Members of the Jim Thorpe High School Class of 1967 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Monday at the Boulevard Restaurant in Lehighton. Members are also reminded of the picnic on Aug. 4.

Class of 1964

Ed Solomon will host the July picnic for members of the 1964 class of Jim Thorpe High School at noon on July 18 at his home at 55 Galli Road in Halifax. If you are planning to attend and need directions contact Harry Eisenhart or Ed.

Clothing donations

Friday is the last day that St. John’s Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will be accepting donations for the annual clothing giveaway. If you wish to donate, please contact Bonnie Hoffman, 610-554-3528, or Mary Strohl, 570-325-2294 and they will arrange for the church to be open for your drop-off.

The giveaway will begin on Aug. 2.
