The engagement of Hilary Reis and Michael Weinert, both of Boothwyn, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jody and Don Reis of Jim Thorpe. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with a minor in Computer Science from Moravian College in 2014. She is employed as an operations analyst for Delaware Claims Processing Facility.

Her maternal grandparents are Roy F. and Janice Gover of Jim Thorpe. Her paternal grandparents are the late Charles L. and Marie Reis, also of Jim Thorpe.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kathi Jo and Scott Weinert of South Whitehall Township. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Moravian College and a Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School in 2017. He is employed as a law clerk to the Honorable Chad F. Kenney.

His maternal grandparents are Catherine and the late Joseph S. Burker of Allentown. His paternal grandparents are Robert A. Weinert of Allentown and Ann Rebele of Oakland, Maryland.

The couple became engaged in May 2017.

A wedding is planned for June 9, 2018.
