Heavy rain expected Wednesday

Wednesday: Rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 2 p.m. High near 63. East wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Wednesday night: A chance of rain, mainly before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Northwest wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Thursday: A slight chance of rain before 8 a.m., then a slight chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 61.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40.
