Franklin Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:

• Purchased a 2006 Ford F-250 pickup for $4,072, retroactive from the Sept. 29 COG auction held by auctioneer Dean Arner.

• Hired Joe Wolfe as a part-time sanitation crew worker at the rate of $12 an hour, retroactive to Oct. 9.

• Announced that trick or treat will be held from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

• Announced the township’s Electronic Recycling Day will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 3.

• Announced the change in garbage collection for the Veterans Day holiday, which will result in the Nov. 12 pickup being changed to Nov. 13.
