State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents in Schuylkill County:

• On Jan. 20 troopers received a report of a missing gun, a Taurus .22-caliber, eight shot, revolver from a residence along Valley Road in Walker Township. The woman who reported the incident about noon said the firearm could be somewhere within the residence. The investigation is continuing.

• On Jan. 21 at 4:25 a.m. troopers responded to the 700 block of Strawberry Lane in Union Township, to a report of slashed tires on a 2007 Volvo S40. Troopers said a 17-year-old male was located and admitted causing the damages. He was charged with criminal mischief.
