Eldred Township will be holding a cleanup day for residents on May 4 to bring bulk items to the municipal building for disposal. There will be a large dumpster in the back of the building for residents to drop off unwanted large items.

Some items such as tires will be accepted, but there will be a minimal charge.

On the same morning the township will also be using volunteers to clean up roadsides throughout the township. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the township to sign up.

There will also be an open house held during the cleanup to give residents and opportunity to see all of the improvements that have been made to the township’s garage.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The dumpster will be available until the rear gate is locked. For more information, residents should check the township website or call the township.
