Edith and James Crossin

Mr. and Mrs. James Crossin of Jim Thorpe are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married March 1, 1958, at Immaculate Conception Church by the Rev. James Doolin.

Attendants were the late Grace Anne Kennedy of Nesquehoning and the late Donna Lee (Kennedy) Crumlish of Boston, Massachusetts, formerly of Nesquehoning. The late Michael Roos of Jim Thorpe was the best man.

Mrs. Crossin is the former Edith Warner, daughter of the late Maurice and Marjorie (Brown) Warner of Parryville. Her husband is the son of the late John and Agnes (Smith) Crossin of Jim Thorpe.

The Crossins have two children: Michele, wife of Ronald Swedar of Lehighton, and Mary Theresa of Jim Thorpe.

They have two grandchildren, Jeanine Swedar and Chad Swedar, and three great-grandchildren, Hannah Wallweber and Keegan and Phoebe Swedar.

Mrs. Crossin worked for Jim Thorpe Borough for 20 years before retiring.

Mr. Crossin worked for Horsehead Resource Development Company, formerly the New Jersey Zinc Company of Palmerton, for many years before retiring.
