Maketa is given a lead to work with when the Lansford bats push across five first-inning runs. Joe Fignar delivers a two-run double during the frame, while Chester Trojan, George Puskar and “Peka” Daniels add run-scoring hits. Puskar finishes with a pair of hits, while Coaldale receives two hits from Calvin Mock.
