Mincavage claims the 100, triple jump, and both hurdling races to propel the Blue Raiders to a 103½-34½ victory. Allison Zlock adds a pair of wins in the shot put and discus, while Chris Adams captures the 1600 and 3200. In the boys meet, Tamaqua gets multiple wins from two of its runners to earn an 88½-61½ win. George Krell captures the 100 and 200, while Jim Lindermuth breaks the tape first in the 1600 and 3200. Tom Scheitrum also wins the long jump, clearing 6-8 to set a new Shamokin stadium record.
