The Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation is accepting registrations for the following events in February:

• Palmerton Chamber of Commerce luncheon being held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bert’s Steakhouse. The speaker will be William B. Cyr. Cyr is the CEO and a member of the board of directors of Freshpet, a fast-growing, publicly traded pet food company based in Secaucus, New Jersey, that manufactures the first all-natural, refrigerated pet food in North America and Western Europe. He joined Freshpet in September 2016. Since he joined Freshpet, the market cap of the company has more than tripled to $1.3 billion.

• The Carbon County Women in Business luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 14. The featured speaker will be Katya Fitzpatrick, News Director, BRC TV13. During this presentation you will learn about balancing work responsibilities and demands at home. Fitzpatrick is a busy mom of three. She says tackling the day takes preplanning, organizing and prioritizing. Fitzpatrick will share tips on monitoring your time and creating a personalized schedule and a viable routine that works for you. This event will be held at Radical Wine Company.

• The Future Leaders of Carbon County is hosting a Meet & Greet Mixer from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Covered Bridge Inn. There will be appetizers and drink specials for all registered guests as well as live music and excellent networking opportunities to help you grow your business and network.
