Crash suit

Christopher D. Bemelmans, 744 E. Washington Ave., Bethlehem, filed a civil action against Debra Rehrig, 687 W. Princeton Ave., Palmerton, over a motor vehicle crash.

The suit states on Aug. 9, 2017, Bemelmans was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound on Delaware Avenue in Palmerton, approaching State Road. While traveling through the intersection his bike was struck by a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by the defendant, the suit alleges.

Negligence is alleged against the defendant and sought are damages for injuries sustained and detailed in the suit, in an amount exceeding local applicable compulsory arbitration limits.
