Carbon businesses have liquor violations

Two Carbon County businesses have been cited by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Wilkes-Barre, for violating state liquor laws.

Lorenzo’s Pizza Kitchen, 489-491 N. First St., was cited for a violation that took place on March 22 when it furnished alcoholic beverages to a minor, police said.

All Star Beer Inc., 250 N. Pine St., Summit Hill, was cited for an incident on March 22 for furnishing alcoholic beverages to a minor. The citation was issued on May 1.

The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.
