Car hits pole in Hometown

One person was taken to the hospital following a vehicle collision with a utility pole in Hometown at 3:17 p.m. Monday. According to those at the scene, a Chevy Cobalt crashed head-on into a pole located on Claremont Avenue, Route 309, situated between two businesses, Basile’s Italian Restaurant and Northeast Hydroseeding Company.
