Kara Scott, candidate for the 122nd District House seat, announced that her campaign will be available with office hours at the Democratic Information Center in Lehighton at 182 S. First St. from 6-8 p.m. Monday through Friday through Election Day.

Voter registration and absentee ballots will be available to all, and supporters can pick up yard signs and campaign literature during these hours. Volunteers are encouraged to drop by and sign up for neighborhood canvassing, house parties and other campaign activities.

The “Kara for Carbon” campaign airs a weekly half-hour interactive Facebook Live program. Everyone is invited to tune in to watch and participate in community-focused discussions about community issues that touch our lives every day. The program starts at 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday. Past programs have been recorded and are available for viewing.

Scott is president of Bowmanstown council and vice president of the Carbon County Council of Governments.
