Neffs National Bank collects 14 boxes of toys for Toys for Tots

The Neffs National Bank recently participated as a drop off location for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Drive.

From Nov. 1 through Dec. 9, The Neffs National Bank, its board, employees, customers, and local community filled over 14 boxes of toys for the Toys for Tots Drive. This year the need for contributions was at an all-time high with a local goal of reaching 100,000 toys.

“For the past 10 years we’ve been proud to be a part of such an impactful program. The response from our local community has been overwhelming and we are so thankful for their support. This year we raised a record high of 14 boxes of toys, games, and books plus three bicycles,” said Kevin Schmidt, president/CEO of The Neffs National Bank. “We have been told that we are one of the largest collection sites in the Lehigh Valley and we look forward to assisting every year. We have high hopes that next year, our 100th anniversary and our 11th year of participating in Toys for Tots, we will be able to beat this year’s record.”

Donations made local, stay local.

According to the Toys for Tots Allentown drive webpage, last year 137,717 toys were distributed and 21,128 children were supported in the Allentown/Lehigh Valley area.
