The Franklin Township Grey squad posted a victory in its opening game of the Panther Valley 11-12-year-old Little League Tournament on Wednesday. In other action, the Jim Thorpe Blue team rolled to a win over Tamqua White on Tuesday.

Manogue also scored three runs and drew a walk. Tyler Poole and Adam Bastone added three hits, while Matt Sofranko singled and tripled. Bastone allowed three hits over four innings, recording three strikeouts to earn the win on the mound.Kyle Binder was 1-for-2 for Anthracite.Tamaqua-JT BlueThe Jim Thorpe Blue rolled to a 20-5 win over the Tamaqua White squad on Tuesday.Garrett Lienhard went 4-for-4 with a grand slam and seven RBIs. Drew Wimmer collected three hits, while Colby McHugh and Adam Romanchick added two hits apiece.Mason Moyer smacked a three-run homer for Tamaqua.
