Chupa elected to CPA council
Nicole Chupa of Palmerton was elected to the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs council for a two-year term Wednesday at the Institute's annual convention in Lake Buena Vista, Florida
Chupa is a manager with Buckno, Lisicky & Company in Allentown, specializing in small business and individual taxes. A past president of the institute's Lehigh Valley Chapter, Chupa is on the chapter's Executive, Emerging CPAs, Nominations, and Thanksgiving Benefit committees. In addition to her volunteer leadership with the institute Chupa is on the March for Babies executive leadership team for the March of Dimes. Chupa received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Moravian College.
The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants is a statewide association of more than 22,000 working in public accounting, industry, government, and education. It is the second-oldest CPA organization in the nation.
