Published June 28. 2016 11:27AM

The Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation will host a beach party on Wednesday at Boulder View Tavern. The evening will begin at 5. The evening will serve as a meeting for participants of the third annual Carbon Adventure Race. The party will be hosted from 5-7 p.m. outside, weather permitting.

Complimentary appetizers will be provided along with a cash bar and live music sponsored by Shawn Kresge Services. All registered guests will receive one complimentary drink as they mix and mingle on the lake.

The evening will work as double duty and will serve as a chance for fellow business leaders in Carbon County to meet and make future business connections. There is no cost for chamber members. For future members $10 will get you into the event.

There is still time to register for the Adventure Race on July 16. During the meeting past participants and organizers will be on hand for questions and to help get teams registered on the spot. Registration fees are $50 per team and individuals can register for $30. Monetary prizes go to the top three place finishers.

The 2016 Adventure Race supports the Special Olympics of Carbon County and the CCEDC.

The Carbon Adventure Race is hosted by the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporations Young Professionals Council. The race will be returning to Skirmish in Albrightsville.
