Mr. and Mrs. Luther Musselman of Slatington recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on July 24, 1965, at St. John's UCC in Slatington. The Rev. Donald Paine officiated.

Mrs. Musselman is the former Darlene Serfass, daughter of the late Mary Ellen and Absolam Serfass of Slatington.Her husband is the son of the late Anna and Leroy Musselman of Slatington.The couple has three children: a son, Keith Musselman of Philadelphia; a daughter, Beth Bachman, wife of Tom Bachman of Orefield; and daughter, Sherri Martinez, wife of Lee Martinez of Walnutport.They also have four grandchildren; Brendon Martinez, Jada Martinez, Brent Bachman and Shane Musselman.The couple celebrated with a vow renewal at the Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas and a large party with friends and family.
